Server Outages

The data centre where the Onesmarthost servers are located experienced a router failure today at 12:46, this affected the visibility of all Onesmarthost servers to the Internet including websites / databases and email.

The data centre was aware of this issue straight away which affected the North Side of the data centre and have been working with Cisco to resolve this issue as quickly as possible at 14:50 the network came back online and the Onesmarthost servers are now accessible.

We are still awaiting the route cause information from the data centre and will be contacting all Onesmarthost customers as soon as we receive the information, along with our plans for the future to steer away from any problems like this in the future.

The Rapid Switch data centre that we utilize has had an excellent uptime record for the past three years.
